Crash Data
To better understand where and why crashes occur, the project team completed a crash analysis. The crash analysis examines ten years of data for the motor vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian crashes in Kirkwood.
This data is being used as a critical factor in identifying a high impact network where improvements will have the most impact on reducing fatalities and severe injuries. Click on the button below to view the report.

Demonstration Projects
Demonstration projects allowed the project team to test potential safety solutions. To evaluate the impact of demonstration projects, travel speeds before the demonstration projects were compared to travel speeds during the demonstration projects.
